Product information

Whereas products like ordinary sand, metal grits, slag and silicates have traditionally been used, and still are to a large degree, Garnet has in recent years been found superior for a number of reasons: Spark free, virtually dust free in usage, harder, quicker and re-usable.

Garnet can be found in several countries world-wide, but only a few sources are economical to mine and refine. In some areas the Garnet is taken from salt water beaches and similar, with the danger of corrosive salts being included in the end product.

One prominent Garnet raw material is in the south of India, with partly rock reserves, partly sand from fresh water river beds.

We want to underline that our Garnet meets all technical criteria for a top class product, analyzed with impressive conclusions by a leading international research institute SINTEF, of Trondheim, Norway, and already in industrial scale use in selected markets.
